New Bedford - Lawrence Lygren, 67, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the New Bedford Healthcare Center. He was the husband of Danielle (Racine) Lygren.
Born in Acushnet, son of the late Klaus and Rose (Sagen) Lygren, he lived here all his life. He was employed as a bus driver for Gartra until his retirement. He was a member of s.a.m.a.r.a., W1DBX.
Mr. Lygren was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Danielle; a daughter, Wendy Lygren of New Bedford; 3 sisters, Sheila Brightman, Eileen Harrison and Pamela Young, all of Florida; 2 brothers, Michael Lygren of Acushnet, and Ronald Lygren of Maryland; 1 granddaughter, Lyndsy Sylvia of Acushnet; and many nieces and nephews.

So sorry for your loss, not sure if you remember me. I never forget nice people. You and Larry rented our tenement on Campbell St. many many years ago. I recently lost David in 2010. It will be 3 years Jan.9th. Take care.God Bless, stay strong.
