New Bedford - Natalie (Balut) Boudreau, 89, of Fairhaven, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Roger Boudreau.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Sebastian Balut and Sofia (Krawiec) Balut Nicoloff, she grew up in Acushnet and lived in Fairhaven for several years.  She was employed at Atlas Tack until her retirement.
Mrs. Boudreau was a communicant of the former Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church where she volunteered her time and energy at many of the church affairs.  She was a member of the Women's Guild of Our Lady of Fatima Church and the Garden Club.  She greatly enjoyed Polish music, gardening, photography, and watching birds from her kitchen bay window.
Very proud of her Polish heritage, she was a member of the Friends of Poland and participated in many Polish functions.
Natalie will dearly be remembered for her kindness, loving friendship and caring heart.
She leaves behind a godchild, Rose Marie Bessette and her husband, Robert of Swansea; her dearest friend, Eileen Desroches of New Bedford; as well as many other godchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was the sister of the late Josephine Pierro and John Balut.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 3, at 10 A.M. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, followed by burial in the Polish National Cemetery, New Bedford.  Visiting hours are Wednesday, 3 - 6 P.M.

Natalie was a beautiful person. She was always thinking about everyone else. She always had a story to tell and loved to spend time chatting. I will always remember our mornings together when I was delivering your paper. Rest in peace...I will miss seeing your smiling face in the window.
God Bless!
