I had the distinct pleasure of working with Steve on Engine 5 and found him to be one of the toughest Firefighters and exacting, nicest guys I worked with. He brought in his "Earthen treasures" one day because we heard his stories and wanted proof, he did, and never was more excited than telling us the histories from two huge glass jars of the "stuff". Please accept my sincerest sympathy for your loss.

Dear Bociek Family, My condolences to you all on the loss of Mr. Bociek. I'm so sorry that I was not able to be at the graveside service. My memories of Mr. B at the fire station will stay with me always. Hanging with Steve as we were kids, we would always climb over the wall at Knowlton School and run down that hill to see your Dad that he was so proud of. Our families have known each other for many years. Again, my condolences to you all.
Steve Proulx
