I’m just at a loss for words! Eloine and I actually met at Hilton Head Island many years ago, and she was a special friend for years. I’m so thankful that she allowed me to be a part of her awesome life, and I’ll have her family in my prayers. She won’t be forgotten quickly by me. May she R.I.P..

I was so sad to hear about the passing of Mrs. Vieira. I'll always remember her as the awesome Mom of Steve and Stu. She was kind and always had a place at the table for me to sit with the family, have a meal, and talk about anything under the sun. She was a wonderful lady! Rest in Peace, Eloine.

Our family is going to miss Eloine!! She was my mother Portia's partner in adventure all around the world. She was such a joy to be around always. Eloine was always the life of the party even when there was no party! I was just looking at pictures of her and my mother's travels together and it's amazing how many places they went and how much fun they had. Eloine, thank you for all the love you showed my mother and all of us, including my late grandmother Photine who adored you as well. I hope you guys are together right now!

Dear Family: I am saddened to read about Eloine. She was my Secretarial Sciences teacher at Bristol Community College from 1974-1976. I loved this lady. She had a great sense of humor and I greatly admired her. We met up again at the Women's Investment Club years later. May she rest in peace. Amen.

I am so very sorry to learn of Eloine’s passing. She was one of my favorite professors and later a colleague at Bristol Community College. She led her department with strength and grace. She frequently spoke lovingly of her husband and sons. Eloine was proud of her family and her Polish heritage. It was an honor to have known and worked with her. She will be missed by many. God bless her and her family.

Eloine, we’ll miss your visits to New York with Portia- especially for Halloween; I think you and my mom were more excited to dress up than than the kids! So fun and so thoughtful- always bringing the perfect gift for the kids- and, my favorite, a bag of your spicy quahogs! Thanks for being Portia’s worldwide travel partner; I know she’ll be thinking of you on all her trips going fwd- and I know you’ll keep the party going where you are! Much love from Christina and Lazarus!

We are at a loss for words. Eloine was such a fantastic funny lady.
We always looked forward to seeing her when she came down to Hilton Head Island with her friends and family. Could not keep up with her. Such fun.
She also was one of the only people that still wrote letters and notes putting pen to paper. Something you just don’t see people do anymore. We always waited for her next letter.
What a beautiful lady!!!
You will be so so missed
Love Cathy & Tim

So many fond memories from our years in High School,College, and as she continued to welcome our family to her home for so many years. I chuckle as I recall them and will forever cherish them. I will remember Eloine as a beautiful woman of faith and compassion. While working at the Zeiterion Theater, we had many interesting conversations about her travels, books she was reading, and life in general! I will miss those interactions. Please know that I will keep Eloine and her family in my thoughts and prayers.
