Aime LaPointe, Jr. Obituary
Norwood - Aime N. LaPointe, Jr., 75, died Monday, October 5, 2015 at Norwood Hospital. He was the husband of Brenda (Sylvia) LaPointe.
Born in Fairhaven, son of the late Aime N., Sr. and Deolinda (Marks) LaPointe, he lived in East Freetown most of his life. He was employed as a box cutter until his retirement.
Mr. LaPointe enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and his dog, Put-Put.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda; 2 sons, Aime N. LaPointe, III and wife, Norma and Michael S. LaPointe, all of East Freetown; 2 daughters, Charlene LaPointe of Brockton and Christine Vieira of New Bedford; 4 sisters, Deolinda Stolowilsky, Sandra Humphrey, Jeanette LaPointe and Shirley Form; and several grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
He was the father of the late Georgene DeMello.
Visiting hours are 4 - 7 P.M. Thursday, October 8, 2015 with a service at 6:30 P.M. Burial will be Thursday, October 15, 2015, at 11 A.M. in Pine Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Aime's memory may be made to his family.
