Beverly Cioper Obituary

Beverly K. Cioper passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 31 on her 94th birthday after a 5 month courageous battle with pancreatic cancer surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Alfred M. Cioper.

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Katherine (Cierpial) Mikolajczyk.

Beverly lived in Acushnet for over 70 years. She worked at the Acushnet Co. Titleist Plant as an inspector in the Golf Ball Division for many years until her retirement.

Beverly took pride in her Polish heritage by cooking Polish dishes for her family and friends. Beverly loved listening and dancing to Polka music and attended many Polish gatherings.

She enjoyed working on the family farm by tending to the animals and gardening. During the warm months, she enjoyed spending time under the grapevine with family and friends.

Beverly also liked shopping and weekends in Atlantic City, Foxwoods, and Mohegan Sun. She also enjoyed politics, most recently attending Trump rallies in her wheelchair.

She left a lasting impression in all the lives she touched.

Beverly is survived by her son, Michael Cioper; her two daughters, Joanne K. Cioper, and Diane Barlow and her husband, Raymond; her sister-in-law, Frances Mills; four grandchildren, Matthew and Timothy Barlow, and Andrew and Abigail Cioper; four great grandchildren, Maddox and Vincent Barlow, Caleb Raposo, and Weston Cioper; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Mildred Jamatis; and the sister-in-law of the late Teddy Cioper, Madeleine Cioper, Roland Mills and Albert Jamatis.
