Carlos Cora Obituary
New Bedford – Carlos D. Cora, 56, of New Bedford, died Monday, April 22, 2019. He was the son of Ana Cora Ruiz and Carlos Lebron.
Born in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, he lived in New Bedford for many years. His favorite sports were hockey, swimming and boxing. He loved animals, especially dogs and exotic fish. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother; a sister, Ana Melendez; 2 nephews, Enoc Cora and Edwin Cora; 11 grandnephews; his girlfriend, Michelle Syrjala; 2 daughters, Latisha Rose and Kendra Brando; and 2 granddaughters, Derriana Almedia and Salana Burgo.
Visitation is 9 – 11 A.M., Monday, April 29, 2019 with a service at 11 A.M. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. For condolences, visit www.machnowskifuneral.com.
