Carlos R. Nunez Cruz

New Bedford - Carlos R. Nunez Cruz, 57, died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at home, surrounded by his loving family.  He was the husband of Carmen A. Osorio Andrades.
     Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Angel Nunez and Carmen Cruz Martinez, he was a resident of New Bedford.  Mr. Nunez Cruz was employed as a messenger for a manufacturing company.  He was a member of Iglesia Rebano Casa de Adoracion, Inc.
     Mr. Nunez Cruz was an all around handy man.  He enjoyed playing basketball, watching movies, listening to music and dominoes.
     Survivors include his wife, Carmen; a son, Carlos R. Nunez Cartagena and his wife, Ashlee Soto; 7 brothers, Roberto Nunez, Hector Nunez, Alexis Nunez, Reynaldo Nunez, Manuel Centeno, Juan Salgado, and Luis Nunez; 5 sisters, Carmen Centeno, Lucy Centeno, Blanca Centeno, Gloria Centeno and Clara Nunez; and 1 grandchild, Stacee Nunez Soto.
     He was the brother of the late David Nunez.
