Carmen M. Maldonado

New Bedford - Carmen M. Maldonado, 72, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late Jose Maldonado and Rosario Girona.
     Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, she lived in Bronx, NY for over 30 years, before coming to New Bedford where she resided for 5 years.  She was a homemaker.
     Carmen enjoyed the Subway Surfer game, bingo, coloring and especially playing dominoes.
     Survivors include 3 daughters, Milagros Aviles, Wanda Roldan, and Jazmin Santiago; 2 sisters, Auria Maldonado and Ede Girona; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
     She was the mother of the late Angel Aviles, Jose Aviles, Enrique Aviles and Jesus Velasque.
     Visitation will be 9 - 11 A.M., Tuesday, November 28, 2017 with a service at 11 A.M., at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.  Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery, New Bedford.
