Carmen Santiago Gonzalez

New Bedford – Carmen Santiago Gonzalez, 75, died Friday, March 29, 2019, at home.  She was the daughter of the late Carmelo Santiago and Aida Luz Gonzalez.
     Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, she was a homemaker and lived in New Bedford for 3 years.
     Carmen’s favorite pastimes were cooking, dancing, watching T.V. and spending time with family.  She loved animals, especially dogs and cats.
     She is survived by 5 children, Yolanda Rodriguez Santiago, Carmen Milagro Rodriguez Santiago, Carlos Rodriguez Santiago, Miriam Rodriguez Santiago and Severiano Rodriguez Santiago; 2 sisters, Aida Santiago Gonzalez and Lilian Santiago Gonzalez; 19 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
     She was the sister of the late Carmelo Santiago Gonzalez and Nilda Santiago Gonzalez.
