Carolyn J. (Fournier) Lawrence

New Bedford - Carolyn J. Lawrence, 71, of New Bedford passed away after a long illness on Friday, January 12, 2018 surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of Frank J. Lawrence.  They had been married for 49 3/4 years.
     She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Dianne Lawrence of Marion, Susan Alexander and her husband, Scott Alexander of Acushnet and two grandchildren, Brenden Alexander and Kayla Alexander.
     She was the mother of the late Jennifer Lawrence.
     Respecting Carolyn's wishes, there will be no calling hours or viewing.
     Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at St. Mary's Parish, 343 Tarkiln Hill Rd., New Bedford at 10:00 A.M.  Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant St., New Bedford.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to: Food for the Poor, 6401 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, FL 33073.
