Cecelia M. Kach

New Bedford - Cecelia M. Kach, 88, died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Rudolph Kach.
     Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Gula) Mikina, she was a lifelong resident of the city.  She was employed as a tap marker for Continental Screw Co., until her retirement.
     Mrs. Kach enjoyed cooking and shopping.  She was very proud of her Polish heritage.
     Survivors include 1 son, Kurt Kach and wife, Carolyn of Seekonk; 1 daughter, Karen Kach of New Bedford; 1 sister, Ann Quintin of Fairhaven; 2 grandchildren, Natalie and Nicole Kach of Seekonk; and several nieces and nephews.
     She was the sister of the late Nellie Sojka, Victoria Hopp, and Joseph Mikina.
     Her funeral service and burial in St. Mary's Cemetery were private.
