Cheralyn M. (Cathcart) Daumont

New Bedford - Cheralyn M. (Cathcart) Daumont, 53, died Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at home.  She was the wife of Francisco Daumont, and the daughter of Charlotte Cathcart.
     Born and raised in New Bedford, she lived here all her life, and was a 1981 graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational  Technical High School.  She was a certified nursing assistant.  Cheralyn enjoyed arts and crafts, tennis and cake decorating.  She deeply loved and cared for her family and friends.
     Survivors include her mother, Charlotte; her husband, Francisco; 3 sons, Joshua Mendes and his wife, Maria, Kiefer Daumont, and Christian Daumont; 1 daughter, Bethany Westgate; 1 stepdaughter, Christina Westgate; 1 brother, Derek Cathcart; 1 sister, Melissa Cathcart; her sister-in-law, Evelyn Daumont and 6 grandchildren, Mykayla Quinones, Isaiah Dudley, Jaelyn Dudley, Eligah Dudley, Ethan Mendes, and Adriana Hijazi.
     She was the sister of the late Kathleen G. Lipsett.
     Her graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited, will be Tuesday, January 10, 2016 at 11 AM. in Rural Cemetery, presided by Pastor Joseph Britto.
