Claire Y. (Boucher) Wilcox

New Bedford – Claire Y. Wilcox, 78, died Sunday, August 29, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital.  She was the wife of the late David Wilcox.

     Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Louis and Mariann ( Saindon) Boucher, she lived in New Bedford all her life.

     Claire received her Bachelor’s Degree from UMass Dartmouth.  She was employed as an accountant for Mass Tank and Engineering, until her retirement.

     Claire enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

     She is survived by 2 sons, Glenn Wilcox and wife, Jennifer, and Michael Wilcox; and 3 grandchildren, Caleb, Tucker, and Chloe.

     She was the mother of the late Anita Wilcox and sister of the late Paul Boucher.
