Conrad Lavalley Obituary
New Bedford – Conrad L. Lavalley, 90 of New Bedford, died Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Mauricette (Clerc) Lavalley.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Conrad L. and Yvonne (Caron) Lavalley, he lived here all his life. He was employed as a lab technician for the Acushnet Co., Golf Division.
Conrad was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, having attained the rank of Sergeant.
He enjoyed watching football and baseball. Some years ago, he was a musician in the band called The Silverliners.
He is survived by his wife, Mauricette; 2 sons, Paul L. Lavalley and wife, Carolyn and David L. Lavalley, all of New Bedford; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and his very special friends, Robert and Eileen Verville.
His Funeral Mass will be held Monday, January 10, 2022 at 11 a.m. in Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, New Bedford followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Masks are required in church.
