Cynthia A. (Surprenant) Vieira

New Bedford - Cynthia A. (Surprenant) Vieira, 54, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at home.  She was the wife of Antonio F. Vieira.
     Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Rene G. and Pauline T. (Souza) Surprenant, she lived in this city all her life.  She was a homemaker.
     Mrs. Vieira was a member of the New Bedford Sports Club.  She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Red Sox, Patriots and the Benefica Soccer Club.
     Survivors include her husband, Antonio; 4 sons, Charlie Surprenant, Antonio F. Vieira, Jr., Nicholas F. Vieira, and Brian A. Vieira; 1 brother, Steven Surprenant; 1 sister, Paula Casey; 3 grandchildren; and 1 niece and 1 nephew.
     Visiting hours are 1 to 3 P.M., Sunday, April 3, 2016 with a Memorial Service at 2:30 P.M. in the Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
