Delores B. (Pontes) Boudreau

New Bedford – Delores B. (Pontes) Boudreau, 83, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Oaks.  She was wife of the late Raymond J. Boudreau.
     Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late John and Boleslawa (Bielski) Pontes, she lived here all her life.  She was employed as a nurse’s aide until her retirement.
     Known to everyone as “Grandma Dee”, Delores enjoyed bingo, playing cards, word search books, country music and dancing.  She was the biggest Red Sox fan.
     Survivors include 1 son, Frank Pinto and his wife, Laurie of New Bedford; 2 daughters, Jacqueline A. Makuch and Donna Costa and her partner, Dennis Sirois, all of Fairhaven; 1 sister, Rosalie Harrison of New Bedford; 1 grandson, 3 granddaughters, 1 great-grandson and 4 great-granddaughters.
     She was the sister of the late Geraldine Szela.
     Her visitation will be at 4 -7 P.M., Monday, June 17, 2019 with a service at 6:30 P.M. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.  Burial is private.
     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Fund.
