Diana Lydia Negron Rivera

New Bedford – Diana Lydia Negron Rivera, 65, died Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of Felix Garcia.

Born in Canovanas, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Vigilio Negron and Josefa Rivera, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life. She was a homemaker.

Diana enjoyed playing bingo and spending time at La Bella Vida in Dartmouth. She was also very crafty and creative, and especially loved spending time with her family.

Diana is survived by her daughter, Yesenia Delgado; her 2 sons, Frank Carrasquillo and Jose Delgado; many brothers and sisters; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Her visiting hours will be held Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Funeral is Monday, March 13, 2023 at 10:30A.M. from the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery, New Bedford.
