Diane Bernice (LeBert) Gurr

Florida - Diane Bernice (LeBert) Gurr, 69, of Palm Coast, FL passed away peacefully on March 4, 2017, surrounded by her loving family after a long illness.  She was the wife of Randall Gurr.
      Born in New Bedford on December 1, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Rene and Antoinette (Levesque) LeBert.  She spent the last 36 years in Florida.
     Diane was a graduate of St. Anthony School in New Bedford,  which built the foundation of her strong faith that led her throughout her life.  She enjoyed spending time at the beaches near her home and had a passion for all animals, but cats and dogs in particular filled her heart with joy.
     Survivors include her husband, Randall Gurr; son, Rick Gardner and his wife, Laurie of Orange Park, FL; grandchildren, Heather Gardner of Jacksonville, FL, Brad Gardner and his wife, Caitlin of Orange Park, FL and Erica Gardner of Orange Park, FL; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Logan Gardner of Orange Park, FL; brother, Norman LeBert of Lake City, FL; sisters, Rita Grenier and her husband, Roland of Rochester, MA, and Irene Podlaski of New Bedford, MA.
     She was the sister of the late Raymond LeBert and Doris LeBert.
     Visitation is 10 - 11:30 A.M., Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, followed by her funeral Mass at 12 noon in St. Anthony of Padua Church.  In keeping with her wishes, Diane will be laid to rest with her family at Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Bedford, MA.
