Diane Oliveira

New Bedford – Diane Oliveira, 53, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Gerard T. Messier and Shirley (Medeiros) Messier.

Born in New Bedford, Diane lived in Fairhaven for most of her life. After graduating from Fairhaven High School, she continued her education into the medical field to become an LPN.

Diane enjoyed helping others whenever she could, and she especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Christopher Messier and Nicholas Messier; her daughter, Harleigh Oliveira; her stepson, Ricky Oliveira; and 4 grandchildren, Emmalyn McGannon-Messier, Christopher Mcgannon-Messier, Wrenley Mcgannon-Messier, and Jackson Daniel Messier.

Diane was predeceased by her brother, Michael Messier.

Visiting hours are Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Machnowski Funeral Home, with a service at 7:30 P.M.
