Obituary

Largo, FL – Doris (Tanguay) Cobb-Cataldo, 96, died Thursday, November 17, 2022. She was the wife of the late Raymond Cobb and the late Carmen Cataldo.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Clement and Marie-Ange (Paradis) Tanguay, she worked as a quality control analyst for the Dept. of Employment and Training for over 47 years.

Doris enjoyed travelling, shopping, casinos, and going out to eat at restaurants. She was very devoted to her family, most of all her mother. She loved people and was very encouraging. Doris was loved very much and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her godchild, Derek Stabell and family; several cousins; and many friends.

Her funeral Mass will be held Friday, January 13, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, 343 Tarkiln Hill Rd., New Bedford. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford.

Arrangements are with Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
