Edgar Jomar Benitez Crespo

Springfield – Edgar Jomar Benitez Crespo, 29, died Thursday, May 21, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center.  He was the son of Pedro J. Benitez and Sonia Crespo.

     Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, he lived in the New Bedford area for several years.  He was employed by the fishing industry.

     Edgar’s favorite sport was basketball.  He was a happy person who loved to sing and listen to music.  He was a helper to everyone.

     He is survived by his mother and father and a sister, Elisa Gonzalez.
