Dartmouth - Edmund G. Copach, 90, died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Bronislaw and Catherine (Galuszka) Copach, he lived in New Bedford most of his life until moving to Dartmouth a few years ago. He was employed as a buyer for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. until his retirement.
Mr. Copach was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, having attained the rank of Technician, 4th Grade.
Survivors include his sister, Irene C. Anthony of Dartmouth; a niece, Carol Siracusa and husband, Joseph and their children, Matthew and Nicole, all of NY; a nephew, Robert Anthony and wife, Tricia and their children, Noah and Kayla, all of Dartmouth; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was the brother of the late Leon Copach, Florence Copach, Sophia Copach and Frances S. Golda.
His visitation will be 8 - 9:30 A.M., Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 A.M. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, New Bedford. Burial with military honors will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
