Edmund Cunha Obituary
New Bedford - Edmund Cunha, 90, of New Bedford, died Monday, October 12, 2015 at New Bedford Healthcare Center. He was the husband of Pearl (Ventor) Cunha.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Manuel and Josephine (Kieltyka) Cunha, he lived here all his life. He was employed as a mill worker until his retirement.
Mr. Cunha loved sports, including football and baseball. He especially loved his cat, Tinkerbell.
He was a U. S. Marine veteran of WWII.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl; 4 sons, Steven Cunha, Karl Cunha, Scott Cunha and Erik Cunha, all of New Bedford; 1 sister, Joyce Bass of Chatham; 5 grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Dorothy Gauthier and Gladys Laberge.
