Edward L. Doty

New Bedford – Edward L. Doty, 74, died Friday, March 15, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital.  Born in Winsted, CT, the son of the late George and Julia (Brickett) Doty, he lived in New Bedford for several years.  He was employed as a cook at various restaurants before his retirement.
     Edward was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed watching wrestling. He loved spending time with his family and his dear cats, Cuddles and Honeydip.
     Survivors include his daughter, Delia Wrightington and her husband, Richard Perry; 1 brother, Rick Doty and his wife, Lorrie; 1 sister, Jill Travis and her husband, Bill; and 4 grandchildren, Jessica, Erica, Merissa and Dylan Wrightington.
