Edward Sniezek Obituary

New Bedford – Edward M. Sniezek, 80, died Sunday, June 12, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Ewa (Jasinski) Sniezek.

Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Joseph and Adela (Urban) Sniezek, he was a lifelong resident of Acushnet. He was employed as a retail clerk for Stop and Shop until his retirement.

Edward had many interests that included tending to his garden, his love of animals, feeding the birds, and fixing all sorts of things. He especially loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Ewa; 2 sons, Joseph Sniezek of Tucson, AZ and Thadeus Sniezek of Fall River, MA; a sister, Jean Szyndler of Mattapoisett, MA; 2 nephews and 1 niece.
