Elsa N. (Perez) Robles

New Bedford - Elsa N. (Perez) Robles, 85, died peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, Sunday, July 15, 2018, at The Oaks.  She was the wife of the late Rafael Robles.
     Born in Arceibo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Citron and Pastora (Perez) Citron, and lived in New Bedford for many years.  She was employed as a seamstress for Cliftex until her retirement.
     Elsa was a communicant of Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. James Church.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, scratch tickets, Keno and cooking for everyone in the family.
     Survivors include 1 daughter, Carmen Robles Gonzalez of New Bedford; 3 sisters, Aurea Perez, Hilda Perez Serrano, and Maria Sagraro; 3 grandchildren, Jamara Natal Santos, Antonio Gonzalez and Miguel Gonzalez; and 6 greatgrandchildren, Casalice Dias, Sophie Santos, Brayden Gonzalez, Nevaeh Perez, Navianah Gonzalez and Antonio Gonzalez, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
     She was the mother of the late Raphael Robles.
     Visiting hours are 5 - 7:30 P.M., Wednesday, July 18, 2018 with a service at 7:30 P.M. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
