Ernest Duval Obituary
Fairhaven - Ernest P. Duval, 72 of New Bedford, died Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Alden Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Acushnet, he was the son of the late George and Helen (Koczera) Duval. He was a lifelong resident of New Bedford.
Ernest was a member of the Adam Mickiewicz Club. He enjoyed helping and giving of his time in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and at church functions. He will be dearly missed by his many friends.
Survivors include his cousin and godchild, Paula Caron-Lacuyer and her husband, Mike of East Freetown; and his cousins, Janice Boehler of East Freetown, Christine Fournier of Berkley, and Michael Boehler and his wife, Sarah of East Freetown.
He was the nephew of the late Mary Szeliga and the late Helen Koczera.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass, Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, followed by burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Please wear a mask in church.
