Fay C. Harding

Fay C. Harding, 91, died Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Country Gardens in Swansea. She was the wife of the late Fred O. Harding.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Elmo and Viola (Chase) Pengilly, she lived in Dartmouth for most of her life.

Fay enjoyed doing word searches, coloring, reading, singing, music, and making great desserts. She was also a dog lover, and especially enjoyed going with her husband to watch him fish.

Fay is survived by her daughters, Tracy Schofield and her husband, Paul of New Bedford, and Jennifer Harding of Dartmouth; her niece, Katherine Kalisz; 3 grandchildren, Jordan, Leah, and Luke; and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late Clara J. Kalisz.

Visiting hours are Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M., with a service at 11:30 A.M. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial is private.
