Florence F. (Henser) Baron

New Bedford - Florence F. (Henser) Baron, 91, of Dartmouth, died Monday, November 7, 2016, at Care One Nursing Facility with her family at her side.  She was the adoring wife of the late John P. Baron; they were married 62 years.
     Born April 14, 1925, the daughter of the late Matthew and Agnes (Wojtowicz) Henser of Dartmouth, she was a life-long resident of that town.
     Mrs. Baron was employed as a jewelry buyer and also worked in the service industry.  She was a fastidious dresser and wore her jewelry with flair.  She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  There were many fun times had at Gram's house.  She leaves behind her treasured cat, Tiger.
     She is survived by her son, John W. Baron and his wife, Diane; 2 daughters, Carole Baron Rapoza and Diane Baron, all of Dartmouth; her grandchildren, Jaymison Dutra and his wife, Jennifer, John C. Baron and Steven Baron, all of Dartmouth and the late Lisa Bumanglag of California; her great grandchildren, Ryan and Nathan Bumanglag of Arizona, and Maranda, Lexi and Baron Dutra of Dartmouth; her brother, Alfred C. Henser of Dartmouth; her brother-in-law, Dr. Chester Baron and his wife, Diane of Fairhaven; and several nieces and nephews.
     She was the sister-in-law of the late Mary Dziura, Millie Benoit, and Joseph, Stanley, Walter, Michael and Louis Baron.
     The family would like to thank Community Nurse and Hospice and the staff of the Dartmouth unit at Care One for their kindness and care.
     Visiting hours are 3 to 6 P.M., Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.  Her funeral will be at 10 A.M., Monday with a service at 10:30 A.M., at the funeral home, followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
