Gabriel Febres

Fall River - Gabriel Febres, 57, of New Bedford, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.  He was the husband of Carmen Carrasquillo.
     Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, the son of Maria Cristina Febres and the late Enrique Febres, he lived in this area for many years.  He was employed as a land worker for the cranberry industry.
     Survivors include his wife, Carmen; 2 daughters, Carmen Rivera and Noelia Febres; 3 sons, Christian Rivera, Frank Rivera and Jose Febres; 1 brother, Jose Enrique Febres; and 10 grandchildren.
     He was the father of the late Luis Febres.
     His funeral service will be from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M., Monday, June 29, 2015 in Al Abrigo Del Altisimo Incorporado Church, 29 Division St., New Bedford, followed by burial  in Rural Cemetery.
