Gale Gross, Jr. Obituary
New Bedford - Gale L. Gross, Jr., 26, died Saturday, August 19, 2017, unexpectedly. He was the son of Heidi Lynn Luiz and Gale L. Gross, Sr.
Born in New Bedford, he lived most of his life in this city and for many years in Spring Hill, Florida. He loved to sing since he was a very young man, and as a teenager, formed a band with his friends. He enjoyed wrestling and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Superman was his favorite superhero character.
Survivors include his mother, Heidi and his father, Gale, Sr.; his maternal grandmother, Patricia Nichols; 1 daughter, Javianna Lynn Ramos-Gross and her mother, Magdah L. Ramos-Ferrer; 4 brothers, Ronald Martin, Jr., James Gross, Leonard Gross and Adam Gross; 3 sisters, Kaula Flores, Larisah Luiz-Baxter and Christa Luiz-Baxter; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Gale will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, August 26, 2017, at Hope Evangelical Community Church, 88 Hathaway Road, Dartmouth, followed by a gathering on the first floor of the church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
