Hector Angel Gonzalez Velez

New Bedford – Hector Angel Gonzalez Velez, 28, of New Bedford, died Thursday, June 3, 2021 at home.  He was the son of Hector Angel Gonzalez Velez and Noraima Velez-Nieves.

     He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico and lived in New Bedford.  He worked in the bakery industry.

     Hector liked horses, the sport of basketball and cars.  Most of all, he loved his family.

     He is survived by his father, Hector of Puerto Rico and his mother, Noraima of New Bedford; his brother, Hector Antonio Gonzalez Velez of New Bedford; his grandmother, Bilia Nieves Gonzalez; and several aunts and uncles.

     Visitation is 9 – 11 A.M., Thursday, June 10, 2021 with a service at 11 A.M., at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.  Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
