Helen (Thomas) Pittsley

New Bedford - Helen (Thomas) Pittsley, died Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Sacred Heart Nursing Home.  She was the wife of the late Everett Pittsley.
     Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Saseen and Marina (David) Thomas, she lived in the city all her life.  She was a homemaker.
     Survivors include a nephew, Thomas C. Bramwell and 2 nieces, Kathleen Nemer and Theresa Reynolds.
     She was the sister of the late Beshara Thomas, Emily Nemer and Amelia Bramwell.
     Visitation is  5 - 7 P.M., Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
     Her funeral  will be Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 9 A.M. from the funeral home with a Divine Liturgy at 10 A.M. in Our Lady of Purgatory Church, 11 Franklin St., New Bedford.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Bedford.
