Irene Malita Obituary
New Bedford – Irene (Kowalski) Malita, 96, died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at The Oaks. She was the wife of the late Boleslaw Malita.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie (Lubera) Kowalski, she lived in this city all her life. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Malita was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
She enjoyed reading, cooking and knitting.
Survivors include 2 sons, Richard W. Malita of New Bedford and Jon Malita and his wife, Gale of Estero, FL.
Private services were with Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
