James Strupczewski

Bristol, RI - James Strupczewski, 85, died Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Silver Creek Manor of Bristol, RI. He was the former husband of Carol (Mahoney) Strupczewski.

Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Anthony and Annette (Rostocki) Strupczewski, he lived here most of his life until moving to Florida several years ago. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

Jim earned a B.S. Degree in Business and Finance, and was employed as a financial accountant until his retirement.

He was a past member of the Moose Club and German Club as well as a member of the Friends of Poland. His favorite pastime was reading books about Poland. 

Jim is survived by his former wife, Carol; 1 nephew, Wayne M. Tomczewski and wife, Rosemarie; 1 grandniece, Beverly R. Tomczewski; and his longtime friend, Garry Siwik.

He was the brother of the late Eleana Tomczewski Ratcliffe.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00am in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, New Bedford, followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Masks are required in church.
