Fairhaven – Jennie (Dabrowski) Pietrzykowski, 102, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Alden Court Nursing Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Henry Pietrzykowski.
Born in Acushnet, daughter of the late Joseph and Helena (Pyteraf) Dabrowski, she was a lifelong resident of the town. She was employed as an office clerk for the Aerovox Co. until her retirement.
Jennie enjoyed cooking, gardening, square dancing and trips to the mountains of New Hampshire. She was especially known for baking the best blueberry pies.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances Bagge and husband, Edward of Acushnet; a son, Henry Pietrzykowski, Jr. and wife, Hope of Fairhaven; 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Joseph Dabrowski, Eugene Dabrowski, Frances Benoit and Alice Fawcett.
Her visitation and burial are private. Arrangements are with Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
