Obituary
New Bedford - Jessica A. (Ortiz) Knight, 41, died Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital after a short, but courageous fight with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Maureen (Lynch) Ortiz.
Born in Boston, she was a lifelong resident of New Bedford. She was a homemaker.
Jessica cherished the time she spent with family, and especially loved her nieces and nephews. She liked cats and butterflies, and enjoyed using cosmetics and hairstyling.
Survivors include her sons, John, David, Joseph and Christopher; and her sister, Joanna Ortiz.
She was the sister of the late Jennifer Ortiz.
Her visitation is Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 9 to 11a.m., with a service at 11a.m. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashey Blvd., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
