Joely's Nicole Martinez Ortiz

Joely's Nicole Martinez Ortiz, 21, of New Bedford died Sunday, January 26, 2025.

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, daughter of Hector Martinez and Michelle Ortiz, and step-daughter to Alexander Dejesus, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

Joely's enjoyed dancing and being with her friends. She especially loved her dog, Floppy and spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her brother, Victor Pagan; her sister, Dimoshley Martinez; and her nephew, Kivyanne Guadelupe.

Visiting hours are Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, with a service at 6:30 p.m.
