Joseph Ciborowski Obituary
New Bedford - Joseph J. Ciborowski, 68, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care. He was the son of the late Leo and Phyllis (Szczech) Ciborowski.
Born in Acushnet, Joe lived in New Bedford for many years. He was employed by the New Bedford Dept. of Public Works until his retirement. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors.
Joe was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a son, Christopher Ciborowski (Angela) of Philadelphia, PA; 2 sisters, Janice Ciborowski of New Bedford and Joanne Ciborowski of Carver; 1 brother, John Ciborowski of New Bedford; a granddaughter, Alyssa; and his very good friends, Frank and Shirley Ragusa.
His funeral service and burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery are private. Arrangements are with Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. For condolences, please visit www.machnowskifuneral.com.
