Josephine Moran Obituary
New Bedford - Josephine (Raposa) Moran, 95, died Monday, May 11, 2015 at the New Bedford Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late Kenneth D. Moran.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Correia) Raposa, she lived here all her life. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Michael Moran and his wife, Karen of New Bedford; a sister, Irene Weaver of Acushnet; a niece, Sandra Rego of Acushnet; 3 grandchildren, Meghan, Ashley and Tyler; and 2 great-grandchildren, Anthony and Jesse.
Visiting hours are 9 - 10:30 A.M., Thursday at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, followed by a service at 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. For condolences, please visit www.machnowskifuneral.com.
