Josephine Hedwig (Bralewski) Wojtaszek

Fairhaven – Josephine Hedwig (Bralewski) Wojtaszek, 98, of New Bedford, died Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Alden Court Nursing Care and Rehabilitation Center.  She was the wife of the late Frank L. Wojtaszek, Sr.
     Born in New Bedford, February 20, 1921, daughter of the late Frank and Antonina (Pawelczyk) Bralewski, she lived in this city all her life.  She was a homemaker.
     She is survived by 2 sons, Frank L. Wojtaszek, Jr. and his wife, Judy  of Annandale, VA and Steven P. Wojtaszek and his wife, Patricia of Littleton, MA; and daughter-in-law Charlotte of Grafton, MA;  5 grandchildren, Michael Wojtaszek of Fairfax, VA, Jeanne Marie Northcutt of Vienna, VA, Andrea  Carl of Bellevue, WA, Kevin Wojtaszek of No. Grafton, MA and Carrie Landquist of Glocester, RI; and 4 great-grandchildren, Dante, Harrison, Clementine and Harper.
    She was the mother of the late Richard Wojtaszek; great- grandmother of the late Ainsley Carl; and sister of the late Irene (Bralewski) Pielech, Helen (Bralewski) Kiluk, Henry Bralewski and Alfred Bralewski.
     Visitation is 4 – 7 P.M., Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.  Her funeral is at 9 A.M., Friday from the funeral home, followed by a Mass at 10 A.M. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, New Bedford.  Burial is in Sacred Heart Cemetery, # 2.
