Juan J. Gonzalez

Juan J. Gonzalez, 51, died on May 15, 2025 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River after a long illness.

Born in New Bedford, son of the late Fausto and Luz (Gonzalez) Gonzalez, he lived in the city his entire life.

In his free time, Juan enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and basketball. He especially loved spending time with his family and attending family reunions.

He is survived by his son, Jonathan Gonzalez; and his two brothers, Rafael and Angel Gonzalez.

He was the father of the late Juan Gonzalez; and the brother of the late Fausto Gonzalez.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford, with a service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
