Juan J. Roman

New Bedford - Juan J. Roman, 71 died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital.  He was the husband of Adela Echevaria.
     Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Julian and Eduvigis Roman,  he lived in New Bedford for many years.  He was a restaurant worker until his retirement.
     Mr. Roman enjoyed bike riding, watching T.V., and especially loved spending time with his family.
     Survivors include his wife, Adela; 5 sons, Osmar Cruz, Brian Cruz, Joan Roman, Jose Quinones, and Luis Quinones; 4 daughters, Sara Roman, Brenda Roman, Marisol Roman, and Ida Quinones; and many grandchildren.
     His visitation is 4 - 7 P.M., Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Camino a  Cannan Church, 297 Coggeshall Street, New Bedford.  His funeral service is at 10 A.M., Wednesday at Camino a Cannan Church, followed by burial in Rural Cemetery.
