Juana (Cruz) Negron

Fall River – Juana (Cruz) Negron, 69, died Sunday, April 28, 2019 at St. Anne’s Hospital.  She was the loving wife of Luis A. Negron.
     Born in New York City, NY, the daughter of the late Roque Cruz and Mercedes Rodriguez, she lived in New Bedford for many years.  She was employed as a seamstress until her retirement.
     Juana was an avid churchgoer and family meant everything to her.  She always put everyone in her life first and herself second.
     Survivors include her husband, Luis; 1 son, Miguel A. Ruiz and 1 daughter, Linda I. Ruiz; 1 brother, Henrique Cruz Rodriguez and 1 sister, Magdalena Cruz; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
     She was the sister of the late Eddie Cruz Rodriguez.
     Visitation is 4 to 8 P.M., Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Camino A Canan Church, 145 North Front St., New Bedford.  Her funeral service is at 9 A.M., Friday followed by burial in Rural Cemetery.
