Karl Glosl Jr., 85, died Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Karl and Mildred (Homick) Glosl, he lived in the city for most of his life. He also served in the U.S. Air Force, where he received a medal for good conduct.
Karl was a good businessman and owned an apple orchard for many years. In his free time, he especially loved spending time with his favorite dog, Blackie.
Karl is survived by his brother, Emil M. Glosl, his wife, Christine and their daughter, Susan of California; and his friend, Bernice Menard of New Bedford.
His graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 11:15 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford.
