Leah Isabelle Obituary
New Bedford – Leah F. Isabelle, 39, of New Bedford, died Monday, April 5, 2021 at home. She was the daughter of Kevin M. Isabelle and Susanne L. (Tollefsen) Isabelle.
Born in New Bedford, she lived in this city all her life. She was a customer service representative for the food and entertainment industry.
Leah enjoyed fashion, the theater and singing. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially cats. She gave generously to various animal rights organizations, including the ASPCA..
Survivors include her mother and father; her brother, Ian Isabelle; 2 aunts, Diane Thomas and her husband, Dan and their children, Penny Thomas and Jenny Thomas; and Carol Hoaglund and her husband, Donald and their children, Joshua Hoaglund, Willow Hoaglund and Teale Hoaglund; Charlie Dyer, Aaron Dyer and Krista Dyer, the children of her late aunt, MaryEllen Dyer; and her uncle, Dennis B. Isabelle and his wife, Beth and their son, Jonathan Isabelle.
She was the niece of the late MaryEllen Dyer and the late Sharon Isabelle.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Forever Paws Animal Shelter, 300 Lynwood St., Fall River, MA 02721.
A memorial service for Leah will be held at a later date. Private arrangements are with Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford.
