Lillian (Marcotte) Babineau

New Bedford – Lillian (Marcotte) Babineau, 88, of Acushnet, died Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Hathaway Manor.  She was the wife of the late Wilfred R. (Tiny) Babineau.
     Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Pierre and Georgette (Grasseler) Marcotte, she lived in Acushnet for most of her life.  She was employed as an inspector at Acushnet Co. (Golf Division) until her retirement.
     Mrs. Babineau enjoyed making puzzles, traveling and camping and especially playing games with her family.  She adored animals.
     She is survived by 1 son, Wilfred Babineau and wife, Margaret of Rochester; 2 daughters, Susan Rogers of Acushnet and late husband, Mark and Judy Orlowski of Springfield, NH and late husband, Paul; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
     She was the sister of the late Pete Marcotte, Normand Marcotte and Reine Ambrosio.
     Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11 A.M., Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at St. John Neumann Church, Freetown.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford.
