Linda Joan (Szela) Semedo

Fall River – Linda J. Semedo, 67, of New Bedford, died May 4th, 2019 after a long battle with kidney and liver disease, with her family by her side.
     Born in Acushnet, she was the daughter of the late Walter Szela and Eunice (Martin) Reed.  Sister of Brenda Pinhero of Michigan, Richard Szela of Westport, Gail Proulx of Michigan, and the late Diane Offley of New Bedford.  She was a lifelong resident of New Bedford.
     Linda was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her loved ones.
     She leaves behind 3 daughters, Kiarna Semedo, 26, Dechelle Campos, 33, and Destiny Campos, 34, all of New Bedford; 4 sons, Joey Souto, 41, Eric Offley, 43, David Campos, 31, and Daniel Semedo, 28, all of New Bedford.  Many she loved like her own, including Ryan Camacho of New Bedford.  She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
     At the family’s request, her service will be private.
