Luis Cubero Vega Obituary
New Bedford - Luis A. Cubero Vega, 53, died Thursday, September 7, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, a son of Aurora Vega and the late Pedro Cubero, he lived in New Bedford for many years. He was employed as an auto mechanic.
Luis enjoyed music, fixing cars and cooking. He was known as a family man who cherished his time spent with loved ones, and especially helping others.
Survivors include his mother Aurora; 3 sons, Luis Cubero, Jeffrey Cubero and Donte Cubero; 3 daughters, Yomari Cubero, Cappri Martinez and Yarelis Cubero; 1 brother, Julio Cubero; 1 sister, Ana Cubero; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 - 11 A.M., Thursday, September 14, 2017 with a service at 11 A.M., at Machnowski Funeral Home, 472 Ashley Blvd., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
